Owned and operated by the Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society Inc. (BAPS), the Equestrian Centre sits in a 40-acre property which will be developed to become the new Ballarat Showgrounds and Events complex. The property is perfectly located on the outskirts of Ballarat Township. The Ballarat Equestrian Centre is available for hire and comprises of an indoor arena measuring 80m x 40m. The surface is a sand and rubberised pellets mixture which is suitable for many equestrian activities including dressage/flat work, jumping and some western activities. The arena is well lit making it available for use in the evening. Apart from the indoor arena there is also a smaller outdoor arena which is suitable for warm up or to use while you are waiting your turn to access the building. There is ample parking for a large number of vehicles and floats with plenty of room to maneuver vehicle/float or even trucks. Whether you are a private individual wanting to exercise your horse or an organisation booking an event this venue is ideal. We look forward to hearing from you.
