About

MCPhysio opened as a physiotherapy practice in 2001 at 102 Drummond Street South (previously established medical rooms). Our goal was to provide a professional, enthusiastic and quality physiotherapy service to the people of Ballarat and surrounding areas. Matthew Clark, sole practitioner at this stage, brought six years of physiotherapy care in the Ballarat and district areas, with experience in public hospital and private physiotherapy practice sectors. Over the years, the practice has grown into a motivated team of 6 Physiotherapists, 2 Massage Therapists, an Exercise Physiologist and a helpful reception team. To accommodate the inclusion of further practitioners, MCPhysio opened a second practice in Lake Gardens in 2003, which was then relocated to the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre / YMCA in Gillies Street in 2006. These rooms were purpose built, with easy access, and allowed an expansion of services and availability. Peak exercise prescription within the gym and terrific surroundings and services within the centre added to the breadth of the practice. To further progress the ability to provide a wide range of Allied Health services, MCPhysio was delighted to acquire rooms at 708 Eyre Street in Central Ballarat. This allowed us to improve our service to you with more availability and the addition of a rehab room, including pilates equipment. MCPhysio has formed a strong reputation as one of Ballarat’s leading Physio practices since 2001. We have a deep commitment to our patients through quality assessment, treatment and communication with you and your treating medical practitioner. The practice also takes pride in its excellent relationships with local GP’s, Orthopaedic specialists and Allied health professionals.
