About
Hi, I’m Martha Haylett, your Labor candidate for Ripon.
I’m also a doting aunt. A proud country Victorian. Someone who knows the importance of affordable housing and universal healthcare.
Most importantly, I care deeply about our community - and the people who call it home.
I’m standing for Parliament to represent Ripon because I believe that our community deserves a strong voice in Parliament. Someone who will fight for great public schools and hospitals, TAFE, local roads, and secure jobs.
In my professional life, I’ve worked hard to deliver affordable housing, employment support and better transport for thousands of people in rural and regional Victoria. I want to bring that same experience and energy to serving our community.
I am standing for Labor because I believe in building a fairer future – for everyone. And because I know only Labor can deliver a recovery that works for all of us.
This election really matters.
The last time the Liberals were in government, they cut over a billion dollars from our health system, waged war on our Ambos, shut down our TAFEs and neglected our regional communities. Now more than ever, we cannot afford four years of Liberal cuts and closures – we need a government that delivers for Victorians – wherever they live.
Victoria needs a Labor Government.
I am passionate about standing up for our rural and regional communities and I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
