Paul and his Wife Helen have three Adult children and live in the middle of Eureka on a small property on the outskirts of Ballan where they raise Horses, Cattle and a small herd of Camels.
Born and raised in Country Victoria; Paul started his working career in the Defense Force as an Engineer, before going into business.
Whilst the core business has been in Transport and Logistics, Paul has been involved in Hotels, Newspapers, and Engineering Companies for over 40 years.
Paul chose to step down from the lead role in the Companies ten years ago to concentrate on Social issues in the region and allow the family members to take the reins.
Paul founded a privately funded homeless and Family Violence refuge 12 years ago and is passionate about creating opportunities for people down on their luck.
Paul entered the Moorabool Council ten years ago, elected Moorabool’s longest serving Mayor on four occasions, receiving emeritus in 2018. Now concentrating on mentoring new Councilors into their roles.
Paul has served on several Boards including everything from Hospital and aged care, Heritage, and Sporting Clubs and is currently Chairing six committees.
